How do content creators feel about SEO strategies?
I am not quite sure how content creators truly think and feel about SEO strategies. Are you one of them? Do you think it actually makes sense?
I have spent the last three days learning about these strategies, and honestly, I have a feeling that these strategies are sort of playing with people's authenticity, hehe.
Well, I understand that if you insert those hot keywords into your titles, hashtags, meta descriptions, and all those things, you can get more traffic to your website, YouTube channel, or whatever platform you use. But what if your content is not genuinely about those keywords? Hehe. What if you are kind of forcing your content to fit trends that do not genuinely belong to it?
Do you actually feel good changing your content just to please the algorithm? Or creating content about hot topics you have no real interest in, only because you know it may bring traffic?
Do we need to change our genuine content to fit the SEO game?
I am struggling a lot to follow the SEO strategies. Maybe I am losing the game; I am not sure.
What if my content is not answering those “what” and “why” questions, which highly favour SEO patterns? Am I just spamming the web then? Or what about the people who discover my content through SEO magic and end up finding it weak because it was not created genuinely? Or unrelated because I crafted a title full of “how” and “why” simply because those titles perform better? Oh, I would feel embarrassed!
Ok, let’s say all these strategies are correct and I need to forcefully adapt my work to stay in the game. But then I personally know creators who get immense reach, and their work does not seem to follow any of those rules. I genuinely have no explanation for that. Has anyone? I would really love to know.
Aren’t these strategies kind of increasing the competition in a narrow field and discouraging people from thinking outside the box to find genuine ways of getting their content noticed? 🤔
Do SEO strategies reward authenticity?
Maybe SEO also rewards people who are genuine. Those who create something new and authentic, which unexpectedly becomes a trend afterward ;) What about that?
No offense :) We all have the right to choose our own approach. I am only talking about my personal feelings toward these SEO games and algorithm-pleasing strategies.
Anyway, I just wanted to write about this because it has been churning in my head for a while now. Sometimes it makes me feel like there is something happening behind that superficial SEO game thing ;)
Have a great day.
