56- I cannot stop the rain

A gloomy, rainy day in Big White, British Columbia. I decided not to let the gray sky bring me down.

Today was one of those gloomy days. I woke up to a gray sky, and even though I opened the curtains, it was still dark inside. It is interesting how much sunlight can change the way I feel!

The cold and humidity brought to British Columbia by Hurricane Poly, combined with humid air moving up from the Gulf of Mexico, have given us so much rain. And there is more to come.

I have consciously decided not to let the gray sky and these days of nonstop rain bring me down. After all, I cannot blow the clouds away or push the cold front somewhere else. Although, jokingly, this is apparently what some people expect meteorologists to do, hehe.

So instead of getting down about the weather, I decided to do something positive. I made a cinnamon swirl, poured myself a hot cup of tea and sat down to enjoy it :)
