Start of hiking and biking season in Big white
Yeay, yeay, yeay! Today is July 1st and it's the day Big White opens its doors to all the hikers and mountain bikers. I have been waiting for this for a whole year and it's finally here 😊
This hiking trail feels like my second home. Last year, I walked down this trail many times, and this year I'm planning to do so much more. This time, I want to hike both up and down the mountain. I want to enjoy all the beautiful wildflowers, listen to the sounds of the chubby bumblebees flying from one flower to another, breathe the fresh, crisp mountain air and take in the unique views this place offers AS MUCH AS I CAN!
I will drink lots of morning tea and coffee up here and take tons of beautiful photos of the Rockies, the flowers, and the birds. I am so excited! 🙂
The only issue is my legs. They are still pretty swollen and don't like too much pressure. I'll give them a little more time so they're a bit more ready, but I think at some point I just have to go down the mountain, even if they aren't 100% there. Then I'll see.
