It was a full moon night on Monday. As the sky got dark, I grabbed my camera and went for a walk to the village. At first, it was a bit disappointing. The sky was pretty cloudy. Still, the moon was shining so strongly that it felt beautiful even behind the clouds.
I realized I had forgotten the adjustable head of my tripod, which meant I couldn’t really use it. Taking photos in the dark without a tripod is hard. Every time I took a shot, I held my breath so the camera wouldn’t shake. It was kind of funny.
It was cold, and after taking some photos, I couldn’t feel my fingers anymore. I could barely feel the shutter button, and the darkness didn’t help either. I still managed to take a few photos, nevertheless.
I packed my camera and started heading back toward the village. Then, suddenly, the clouds disappeared. The moon came out so bright it honestly took my breath away. I dropped my camera bag onto a pile of snow and adjusted the camera on it, pointing it toward the moon. I took a few more shots.
The moon excited me so much that I decided to go and walk in the forest. I really wanted to see how it would look under a full moon. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. And this time, the moment was there.
Here are some photo from that night 🙂

Another photo from my camera resting on my camera bag on the pile of snow. I secured it by my gloves so it wouldn’t slide and fall on the deep snow. It wouldn’t be eassy to find my camera after that 😅
The moon light reflection off the snow in the forest was breathtaking. I felt so safe walking in the wood, even though I was completely alone.
The moon was glowing behind the clouds
As the sky cleared, the snow reflected the moonlight so strongly. It felt like the moon was a strong lamp lighting everything from far away.
Walking with my camera under the full moon
I went out with my camera on a cold full moon night and ended up walking into the forest when the sky finally cleared.
